My old settings:
Camber front: -1˚,1'
Camber rear: -1˚,55'
Caster: 5˚,08'
Toe-in front: 0˚,10'
Toe-in rear: 0˚,12'
According to my specialist these are the margins for the Z4 Coupe with lowered ride height (on 17 inch):
Camber front: between -0˚,32' and -1˚,22'
Camber rear: between -2˚,35' and -3˚,05'
Toe-in front: between 0˚,02' and 0˚,11'
Toe-in rear: between 0˚,05' and 0˚,11'
New settings:
Camber front: -1˚,1'
Camber rear: -2˚,25'
Caster: 5˚,07'
Toe-in front: 0˚,02' (minimum within the BMW spec)
Toe-in rear: 0˚,05' (minimum within the BMW spec)
Problems with my old setup:
Unstable under hard braking.
A little unstable on highspeed cornering.
Sensitive to tracks in the road.
Very sensitive to high tire pressures. Snappy in the wet with the BMW tire pressures which are way too high
Havent done enough testing on my new setup yet but it feels good so far. The rear camber margins from BMW are weird imo. They increased my rear camber quite a lot but it's still below the minimum of what BMW says. My car is on 17 inch and 4 of the same tires around (225/45 R17)
