Well as it says really. Anyone out that part of the world?

I may have to come over in a couple of weeks on a business assignment and an escape from the office in a Z4 would be a welcome break.

A short drive in California would be something to look forward to when currenlty experiencing the worst April weather on record :(
 
You want someone like me to drive a whole 6 miles to pick you up and give you the nickel tour. Where and when and where would you like to go. :thumbsup:

Depending on how long you will be here perhaps we could get something going.

Hey...I'll be in Irvine in a few weeks too!!! If I could make a weekend of it, I'd be tempted to drive the z from phoenix!

Bring your Z, I don't have many weekends planned at this point. When will you be in the zone?
 
I'm planning a trip to UC Irvine on the 24th. But it's a long drive solo. I'll have to find a cute girl to come with me if I do it ;-)
 
If you can't find a cute girl, fly in, I could give you the nickel tour anyway.

Not that I am aware of. There is I believe two exotic car rental places very close. I have seen signs for them on Lincom Blvd just north of the airport.
 
Sounds like you guys have got it all sorted so don't mind me whatever you do... :)

Early indications are I'd be dropping in over the weekend of 19th for a week, but need to await client confirmation later this week and can then let you know for sure.

Great to know you are out there.

Long time since I've been there so know nothing much of the area. Do recall the spruce goose and wondering what the hell HH was on at the time...
 
Not many Z4s were seen where I was couple of weeks back ...

Spruce Goose has been relocated to Oregon a few years back. It was parked next to the Queen Mary in Long Beach. The Queen Mary's days are short as well.

Yep - few years since I was there and saw that and the QM. Dinner on Santa Monica Pier and also in Laguna Beach (or bay?) Blue Jay lake rings a bell too. Memory fading, but it happens... :( Don't tell me in true US style all those have been redeveloped or relocated..
 
Blue Jay lake is up near Lake Arrowhead, north of San Bernardino.
I don't think it has been relocated... :wink:

Good to know that even with climate change somethings are fairly constant
 
I sure the weather is as good as it was today for next sunday. ( 80 degs at the beach and talk about swimsuits you could barely see them ( the suits )). Lots of people out as this was a very nice wekend. Forecast says mid to high 70's next weekend. :thumbsup: :driving:
