Any Market for 224's

While pondering some CSL's I was wondering what some of demand there might be for the original 224's. Anyone got any experience of shifting these on ebay or similar and what do you think they might fetch?

They'll sell every day of the week, however for non ///M's the tyre profile is different iirc, I sold a set with good continentals for around £450 but I've seen mint ones with great tyres on go for £800 too, as a guide I paid £550 for an as new set with 1000 mile Conti's on, bargain I think

Prices vary depending on condition... Mint, maybe £500, £600 on a good day ? If they're in a decent state they'll sell very quickly indeed. If they're not, mr wilks will take them off you

They are pretty much mint... certainly don't need a refurb. Good tyres with I'd guess 5 or 6mm tread but not a great brand, Kuhmo I think. Gotta be at least £500 worth I reckon, which would pay for some CSL replica's then just got to find the cash for tyres?

7mins. Definitive statement about the market

I'm assuming genuine CSL's would cost me about the same as a small house by the way. How much are they?... :?

Brand new ? I think they're about £1,800. Daz will know...

Between £1700 and £1900 plus tyres depending which dealer you go to, if they let you have a set without a CSL chassis number and if they give you 10% discount, I got my set from Bridgewater BMW with no problems

Thanks guys. I'll research the "replica" market a little more. Certainly satisfied there's a market for the 224's. I will let you know "nick&sandra" if I get that far

Keep checking on M3 Cutters they come up fairly often for between £1k - £1600 depending on condition and tyres... BBS CH's also come up from time to time :)
