Any M54 owners have or want the German Auto Solutions CCV

Expensive solution to a frankly marginal problem if I'm honest.
I replaced mine at around 100k miles with the febi cold climate kit. As a rank amateur mechanic with no experience of replacing the CCV before it wasn't too difficult and just relies on patience, dexterity and getting clued-up.
I'm at 150k miles now with no issues.
