Any issues with the '09 35i auto?

Hi,

I'm looking at a 35i this week. It's an '09, automatic with 296 style, 19" wheels.

Is there anything in particular I should look out for on this age and model? Also interested in any comments about the car in general.

Any help much appreciated!

Thanks,
John

Been a lot of issues with cracking on the 296 style wheels but iirc BMW have had them redesigned to make them stronger,so maybe worth checking with the dealer to see if it has the redesigned wheels fitted

Thanks, I'll ask when I go along.

As long as its not the suspect private sale white one doing the rounds?
Wouldn't be too concerned about the alloys as long as they are intact when buying as BMW UK are replacing them if damaged by normal use

Ensure you do a full throttle accelerate on the test drive to test the HPFP, also check gear engagement in the DCT, all should be super smooth. Check for whine noise from the rear (LPFP). Check for water in rear light clusters, they are subject to water ingress. Check exhaust flap doesn't rattle.

Other than that, just the usual car stuff to check..
