fleabay auction that's ended - Itravee II with the Alpine bit to go with it. Auction ended on £231 + £8 postage so that makes it £239.

ToysInYourCar are selling the same items BRAND NEW for £246.

Why on earth would you pay £7 less for a second hand unit compared to new.

Anyone care to offer an explanation?

Auction fever, the need to win at any cost, or just plain stupid

Take your pick

I know that there was a problem with stock of the intravee at ToysInYourCar which may have caused some bidding fever. As far as I know there was new stock delivered recently which does make this a crazy price. I bought this kit brand new a couple of years ago for £150, the price hike is frightening.

I think its also down to lack of understanding of the product, and more importantly the actual rrp

Last year i sold a handful of PS3 games on ebay that i had bought second hand from gamestation - made over £30 from little exercise
