Hello,
Now, linked to a previous thread, I believe I have a bad voltage regulator which is due to be replaced imminently. However, at the same time as this triggering a DSC fault due to excessive voltage, my speakers died. Changed the fuse today, and the old one was bad, however installing a new one causes it to instantly blow that too.
Anyone with experience of these amps able to shed some light? The well is bone dry so water damage is not a consideration, and obviously with it happening when the alternator was producing excessive voltage makes me think its done some damage to something.
Any suggestions as to where to start? Could it be a damaged cable somewhere causing a short? Damage to the amp internally?
