Any CMC/Exoto model collectors out there?

Hi all,

Was at a loose end today waiting in for tradesmen :| so thought it would be nice to dig out some 1/18th scale models I've had boxed up for years sitting in cupboards :roll:

Anyways I have a small mix of Exoto, CMC and Kyosho. Seeing them again has spurned me on to find some of the rarer CMCs and Exotos.







If anyone collects CMC or Exoto would be great to see some pics

Lovely collection You need to get a cabinet for those and show them off.

I do like my model cars, but nothing so intricate as those beauties. More 1: 24 scale Tescos off the shelf. I do have one 1:18 scale model of my old Fiat coupe that I keep in a little shrine, so my mates wife called it, in the fireplace. I'll get a Photo up later.

Cheers buzy, a cabinet would be good and an excuse to increase the collection I think 1/18th is probably my fave scale to show the cars detail to effect and good to have a shrine

Ok manage to capture a few Photos, not a great camera for close ups at night. but better than my phone.





If you ever find a decent 1:18 scale model of a Z4 ///M Roadster in grey. I suspect there will be a large que. I've been looking for 4 years and no joy.

Can't find a black ///M Roadster though

I've never found any ///M Roadsters and I've looked everywhere I can think of.

I have an 1:24 scale Z4 Roadster in Space Grey & a 1:32 scale ///M Coupe in Silver Grey.

But the ///M Roady, well that just doesn't seem to have been made.

Wow that's some seriously detailed model hardware. Personally only got as far as burago but this is very interesting

Re the M Roadster, I can't say I've come across one, I have a 1/18th Kyosho M Coupe and they do the Roadster but I'm certain its not the M variant

I bought a 1/24 Z4 roadster the other week in a model shop in Betws y Coed.The place is old fashioned and not over priced.
I paid £7.50,the model was not boxed.There was one other Z4 roadster there for sale.

I have 2 Exoto Mansell Ferrari 641's and 2 Mansell Williams FW14's

1 of each is signed by the man himself

Exoto are a premium brand and usually go for above £200 each

Great collection speedy and well displayed

The Exoto Mansell Ferrari I didn't realise is fetching a bob or two now, I bought mine through the Frankin Mint years ago and only realised yesterday when getting out the box its in fact an Exoto

I must try and get the Mansell Williams as always loved the colour scheme at the time.

Yep I have thought of buying the 1:18 Kyosho ///M Coupe in Silver Grey and cutting the roof off. :lol:

No I mean I realy have thought I might do that.
