Looking to get a new sliding mitre saw and wanted to seek some advice. I'm going to be buying and redecorating a run down property in the next 4-6months and I'm starting tool-up. As a keen DIY enthusiast my basic b&q performance power tools have fallen apart without much use. Paid next to nothing and wasn't expecting miracles. But, i now want a better finish on the cut for architrave, skirting, cornice, plinths etc - especially need more accuracy on mitres. And more cutting capacity.
I want to stick to dewalt and makita as they seem to be used by the trade....must be good right?? There's so many different ones out there! Whats going to be suitable for me/the job?
Makita LS1013 seems to be a decent one.
