Biker no more (too old ) I sold my my 1340 Hayabusa to buy the Z.

Nice pair of Dukes, but what happened with the other bikes were you hurt or did you get away without injury?

Another ex biker....

had many bikes, highlights of which are probably CBR600, VFR800 and the last one before I gave up was a Bandit 1200 (bloody awful bike).

Nothing quite as fast as yours, but certainly fun.

Born again biker some 9years ago Had Kawasaki zx7r lethal thing that was replaced by a 600ss Ducati then the wife fancied coming out so bought a new triumph bonneville, did some camping and small trips so needed a bigger bike so got a triumph sprint 995 that did us all around Europe which was then replaced by a new 1050 sprint gt tourer 4years ago that took us to Europe many times when the wife then said time we toured in comfort so a year ago bought a lovely 2.0 2005 red Z4 which we have used for several uk road trips with Europe planed for next year,
Must say have found this forum great source of info. :driving: :driving:

Ha, always been a biker to my 50s then classics and drop tops instead.
You've got some lovely stuff there.
My highlights:
3 Suzuki GS1000 great 'Superbikes' of the 70s - rear sets jota bars racing seats box rear swinging arms etc.
Triumph Daytona 1200 always 2 up so favourite bike kept for years.
Triumph 650 twin Tiger 1972 - didn't live up to the dream
VFR 800i disappointed not to get on with the V4 engine
Velocette LE 1965 noddy bike bought for a laugh and to show. In better than new condition - so different and ugly! monocoque frame, leg shields and foot boards, water cooled, shaft driven, horizontally opposed cylinders, amazing technology. All in black and chrome - horrible to ride but a conversation piece!
Now have a 1970s bright orange Puch tucked away - another joke - definitely a taste of the 70s purchase!

:driving:

Yep. Biker here.

Lovely Ducs there! I have an M600 Monster project bike, and an MV Agusta F3. I do really fancy a 999/749 shape.

Previously had a K7 GSXR 600, P8F ZX-6R, and a 11 Z750R.

Love riding!

Mine and my wifes at the moment followed by previous bikes owned by either myself or my wife.

I wouldn't mind one but I feel I may be disowned by the gf or mum if I were too.

Dad lives in the Isle of Man and has a few bikes so even just getting the license opens up all sorts of fun out there :driving:

Started riding at 16 on Scoots, I was a "Mod (ish)" back then so had a few Lambrettas inc a 1954 LD125 (wish i still had that) and an SX200, then graduated to a few small bikes - BSA Bantam & James Captain, which was a dreadful thing with a leaky old Villiers engine. Had many years away from bikes from my mid 20s but went back to it in my late 40s when the kids had grown up and I bought the safe option, a Yam Virago 535 which I only had for about 6 months before graduating to a Yam Fazer 600. I'm in my mid 60s now and still riding, my present bike is a BMW R1200R which will more than likely be my last.

Bikes I've had over the last 15 years or so:

And the present bike, the superb BMW R1200R

Some cracking bikes.
I have been riding a short while (2 years), first bike: Suzuki SV650S, which was great.

Currently now on a GSXR600, to which used on my first ever track day earlier in the year.
