Any Aviators here?

Schemes regularly come up but they're all part sponsored so you've still got to cough up quite a bit of cash.

I tred model aeroplanes a few times but just couldn't master it...lots of frequent wreckage!

I`m just learning for the fun of it, probably won`t even qualify but hey i`m loving it. Just could not afford to indulge when i was younger. :)
 
Is it still possible to do an intense course in Florida to obtain an American PPL, then fly with it here in the UK? Actually, that was just something I heard once and sounded intriguing as the weather here typically holds things up so much. I did roughly 35 hours towards a PPL in my early 20's when I lived in the states and would absolutely love to get back into it. Just don't have the money yet...

as I said, first flight today with a microlight (Ikarus C42). Loved it! I'll book some hours and get my license eventually :)
