Dick Lovett Bristol were selling the new style centre caps for £13 delivered on ebay, I bought a couple of sets from them. They're not currently listed but Ocean BMW have a listing for the same price.

Wheels look great Beedub, very similar to mine but possibly a bit darker. I agree with Mike, the Cups are summer tyres but if you want to incur the aditional cost in changing over when the weather turns then you should try them. They are superb! I still rate the PS2's very highly as well.

Thanks, I've been meaning to get some of these and thats a good price

The colour suits the wheels but in my opinion i think they are too dark for a silver car! I prefer dark wheels on darker cars.

But I will await some more pictures though before i make my decision... :)

Probably fakes.

From a BMW dealer? I think not.

Why not? They sold me a car with fake CSL's, passing them off as real even on the AUC document. I wouldn't trust that bunch of shisters as far as I could throw them

Thanks DGM, ordered some of those. BeeDub, you'll love the Sessantas, if you look at my car on the M,M and M post that Jamie did, you'll see the tread pattern which is too cool.

Oh right, I see where you're coming from now. I don't blame you for feeling that way.

Yeah, just venting. Hopefully no-one on here will have the misfortune to deal with those jokers.

Back on topic (apologies for the slight hijack), I like that colour a lot. I have black wheels on a white car.

The alloys on my old Z3 M Coupe came in 3 different shades and I always preferred the darker one (not least because it required less cleaning!)

Slightly OT re: the centre caps...do they just pop off (how?) or do you have to remove the alloy to push them from the back?

The pictures in this thread should help. Second and third picture. You should be able to pop them off with a flat screwdriver.

I was keen to see how dark wheels looked against Silver as that is my colour and I quite fancied it.

I'm not sure if it is the low light, but surprisingly I find myself not really liking them and thinking that I'd rather stay with silver. It seems to loose the detail in the wheels as well as the size. Take some shots again when it's sunny to see the difference.

No offence meant mate and as long as u like them that's all that matters :)

i love em!!!the pistonheads massive love em to!! well marmite i guess!! i absolutly love em! in the flesh they look freakin awesome, car looks ready to rock!!

cheers daz it looks fookin lovely in real life!! Plus its nice to see somethink different from the usual silver!

Noticed your original wheels are for sale on PH, can you let me know by PM how much you get for them. I plan to do the same thing, i.e. buy CSLs and sell the 18" M wheels. Just want to know the costs involved.
