'Anti-Carjack' - lock doors automatically?

or any Indy with the equipment.

I'd ask you dealer for a complete list of programmable options for your year and model. There is a huge list you can have coded in for car and each individual key

Think the list is dependant on your car and what options you have installed etc.

I took mine to the dealers and they then printed a list and asked what I wanted before programming...

Many dealers in the US will give you one free re-programming after delivery. I would threaten your salesman if you don't get one gratis.

Here's what mine on an '03 looks like:
Sorry for the poos scan the dealer gave me but it will give you some ideas to think on

(note that key 2, which my wife uses has lock after drive off, but not key 1 as I don't like the feature)

Yep - that's the first one everyone spots and points to, then asks WTF is 'flaps setpoint value correction'?

That's for the flaps that deploy at high speeds....didn't ya know?

For for the UK guys - do the dealers charge for such a list of options? Mine is an old car (2004) so out of warranty and long past the days when you could take it to the dealer for a gratis.

Has anyone got a print out for a 07 coupe/softtop 3.0si :!:

2dogs it a 2 min call to your dealer and the can email or fax it to you. Even if anyone does it won't help much as it's totally dependant upon age, model and most importantly MARKET.

Haha you make it sound so easy! I am just off the phone to my local dealer after a 5 minute phone call explaining what I was after and him going to ask other people and returning to say "nobody knows what am talking about and how to get it". So after a little more 'explaination' he's away to find out and get back to me...

How bizarre - guess these things are dealer specific. 2 groups have it at my dealership: Sales who print it out and complete it for every new sale to ensure the first code is free and set to customer requirements, secondly service who have it on their system.

Well it was service I spoke to who had no idea and I fully expect not to get a call back. If they can fax/e-mail it whats your local dealer and I'll try them?

Ryedale Sutton Coldfield, Now Sytner BMW 0121 308 9000 Just called them on your behalf and they knew about it (after putting me through to the wrong guy first, but hey this is BMW). Speak to a service advisor and ask for the 'Car Key Memory Options' form. They obviously cannot speak for non Sytner dealers but said ask for the form then you'd just need to book it in to get your selected options set :)
