Almost identical* to what happened to me on the M6 on Friday
Difference was I managed to avoid the car by using about half of the grass between L3 and the barrier and avoided contact. Didn't lift and made only a tiny adjustment to the steering so that I didn't upset the car more than the grass/gravel was doing. All over in about 3 seconds - then I (ahem) put my foot down a bit to get out of the feckwit's range
* Car pulled out at speed (about the same speed as me in L3) from the slip-road into L1 and then straight into L2 to overtake a truck on L1, just as the truck pulled into L2 in front of him. Car driver decided to move straight into L3 to overtake truck now in L2 but obviously didn't see me already in L3. Must have been concentrating more on not hitting the back of the truck than looking out of his RHS mirror.

Scary ! I hope he soiled himself as punishment for his stupidity :x
Joining a motorway at speed is a good thing, but joining at L3 speeds in traffic is just stupidity :thumbsdown:
