Antenna base change, please help!

Hi guys, i have managed to break my antenna base when trying to switch the OEM ariel to a stubby one, however i have ordered a replacement off ebay which states is for my car, however it is not the same size base, its fitting is different underneath, can anyone tell me if what i have recieved is wrong ?

i have taken photos, you can see the one im holding has a threaded hole in it, a module for the radio/ telephone has a bolt running through it and connects to the base from indide the boot, however the replacement has no threaded home, and a wire coming off it which i have no idea where it connects too ? I have also taken a pic of the module ?

Can anybody help me, is what i have recieved wrong / not compatible, and do you know where i can order a replacement part the same as my origonal base ?

Not sure how you can install if there is no threaded centre?

Genuine BMW aerial base is around £10

Looks like you have snapped the aerial base screw in the base unit - soaking in WD 40 or similar and a stidu extractor should remove this . May be onough showing to cross cut it and use a screwdriver.
