Anstruther Sunday 20th Feb.

I dropped Kirsty off and popped the hood down. It was back up by the time I got to East Kilbride!

Enjoyed today guys thanks for the welcome, hopefully I can remember all the names for the next time. Looking forward to the better weather and some roof down runs.

I'm just so thankful I got run through last year
you lucky :censored: :P

Lucky you knowing where you're working next year- no idea when I find out

Yes I was amazed when they told me so soon! Amazing how they can continue to treat us so badly :headbang:

Anyway I shall stop hi-jacking the thread with NHS moans!!

I still think uncoupled training is the way to go. The only reason I reapplied for run through is because they weren't certain what would happen in Scotland and I didn't want to be left out in the lurch. Turns out they're now fully committed to uncoupled training in line with the rest of the country.

I agree, competitive applications are ultimately a good thing. However it is just a bit rubbish that our jobs 'run out' so we are effectively unemployed every couple of years which just makes whole thing more unpleasant. One of the attractions to life as a doctor used to be the job security. Also makes settling down/house buying more difficult.

Oooops I seem to be moaning on your thread again :headbang: :headbang:

Sorry, back to the topic in hand.

Nick - the run today was fantastic. The highlight of our day was certainly Nosa's new wheels - it was all Kirsty could talk about on the way home! :poke:

ah yes, sorry Nosa  , great looking wheels

(BTW great new signature JP)

Glad you all had a great day .... so near yet so far mad it to glenrothes but realised we were never going to make it to next appointment of the day if we'd made it all the way down..... see you all sometime soon.... great wheels Nosa .. really like them in these shots

Really nice wheels Nosa.
They make a change from the ubiquitous CSL Reps and Eggpoachers - sorry I meant Ellipsoids. :P
