Right then............where do i start. Here i am nearing 50, with the mid life crisis in full flow. I've already done the motorcycle bit and got myself a BMW R1200RT, which myself and Mrs W use very frequently, and use it on holidays to Southern France.
Anyway, i decide i've always fancied one of those Z4's after test driving a roadster back in 2003. So after a bit of searching i went and bought a Coupe SI in black sapphire. Very nice indeed and very suprisingly economical to boot..........if your sensible.
I travelled 260 miles up and down the M6 last week sitting at a respectable 70ish and it was showing 39 MPG!!
I didnt even mind being overtaken by all and sundry as i was quite happy sitting in a stunningly looking car, knowing it had all that lovely silky smooth straight six power should i need it.
Anyway enough of the chat, pictures attached of purchase and a quick thanks for the forum as i have since gleaned a lot of knowledge from you lads and lasses. Keep up the good work and enjoy life in your pride and joys.

Hello and welcome

Black sport coupe

I cant make out the interior, any info / pics?

Well done on the MPG ive had mine up to that level once or twice but it does take a lot of control

Hi great looking car in the best colour. Enjoy it and don't worry about that MPG figure too much you will manage to get it down to high 20s with a bit of hard work! :driving:

Very nice. I'm also impressed with the mpg of the 3.0 lump, i've done c400 miles so far (albeit 300 of those was motorway) and getting a respectable 32mpg overall. Compared to my Mx-5 (27mpg overall average) that's brilliant.

Welcome to the forum - get that mpg down a bit though, you're meandering through your mid-life crisis instead of zoooooooming :D
