Well the Zed went in today to my local Halfords Auto Centre for its annual Competency Test, Bloody thing failed.. on headlights being too high. So for another £15 they adjusted them so it "PASSED" with an advisory that there was a cut in a tyre, not big enough to fail but
It also had a full service including oil and brake fluid changes as its been binging at me for weeks that it needs it.
But looking at last years and this years MOT's shows I only did 1100 miles last year in her,so its not been far.
So all in cant complain, and i can guarantee it was a lot less that had i taken it to the stealers.

Not This one John. I know the manager he is a personal friend. and i bet BMW would charge at least double to readjust them
You only need to hit a pot hole to throw the sensor out, and im sure i hit a few even only doing 1100 miles

Fair shout Dr-Jon. I have an admittedly unhealthy dislike of the places but if you’re happy with the centre you take it too then all’s good. I wouldn’t like to think what BM would charge.... :lol:

My Halfords mot station adjusted my headlights down for free.
I then adjusted them back up...for free.

I only do about 6000 a year in mine.. Never goes out when roads are wet (which is over 50% of the time in UK). At 6 feet 3 I don't find it very comfortable for very long drives either.
