Another Winter Clean + PIC MASSIVE!

Ok so today saw me give the Z a quick clean, luckily today i got the use of my brother’s garage at his new house! It even has a heater down there and a sinck with hot and cold running water! Was a god send and made everything so much quicker!

Normal method was used, rinsed down with a hose to remove any loose dirt, and then using a wool wash mitt, each panel was washed and the whole car was rinsed down with the hose ready for the drying.

Once dried the car was given 2 coats of AG HD Wax.

This wash also saw me clean the inside as well, as I’ve not had the opportunity to do it since i got the car in December. Tried my best to get the mats looking reasonable but might have to bight the bullet and get some more. Anyway i let some of the pictures do the talking.

Very nice

That cream interior is a bugger to clean, but all worth it with the light and dark contrast

yeah it is quite dificult, but looks really nice now its done, i would say its 95% better lol

I take it the pics are out of sequence though... unless you keep taking it in and out of the garage for pics :P

It is the plastic surround for the door locking pin - cracked. No idea where you'd get a new on in black, stealers ? Can't cost much. Only other thing to do would be o get shiny chrome ones from eBay if there are no plastic ones on there. For example : http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=bmw+door+pin+surround

:lol: just realised I started that with the statement 'no idea' :lol:
 
yeah sorry the order got a bit mixed up lol the last picture is of my car mat! tried to clean it the best i could end up i chucked in the washing machine lol

thanks for the link! catn believe they are £15.50 though lol

Yeah, I know, but do a bit more searching on eBay - there are others, I just did a quick google search
 
Good work. But that's the reason i'd never consider a cream interior! Especially in the UK.
 
hahaha i know, but it does look nice now ;-) bit of hard work and some scrubbing and its all worth it ;-)
