Another "which tyres" thread.

I'm looking at new fronts, can't find any non-xl F1 asymmetric 3s, am I better off sticking with the 2s or going for the newer tyre in XL format?

I've been running the PSS XL for about 5 years.

As above but 3yrs:)

And all new Ms came with them as standard
Then a blip for zeros when had a good tyre deal now back to mss
Guessing 4s once they have dried up

I put Pilot supersports on my 911, they last a long time and work well on the road and performed very well the few times I was on a track. obviously not as well as the supersticky tires on the hardcore track cars but adequate for me.. :D

Michelin pilot super sport catergorically can be used as a daily drive. Have them on my 335d (57k) and only on second set since buying new with car. Also had them on my old 335d and notched up nearly 30k on rear and 38k on fronts. And just for balance also have them on my z which does hardly any miles.

Highly recommend MPSS tyres for performance and wear, quite loud tho but not a prob in the zed!

What are the thoughts on PS4 over MPSS'? Summer only car (will be used some winter days).

Currently have MPSS' and they are great, so don't want to change and be disappointed.

You're really wanting the PS4S to replace MPSS like for like.
