Another Trifecta question

Morning all,
Yet another trifecta thread. I've read the existing ones and have a fair idea, but was wondering if anyone has a bit more recent experience and can help me out.
Got the amber Tyre, Brake and Traction lights come on. No issues with braking etc, but obviously traction control is then disabled as I dug a groove in my sloping gravel drive!
Switch the car off, come back to it the next day and the lights are out. 20 miles down the road, they come back.
That has happened twice now. Like something is warming up then breaking a connection?
Code reader says :
5D8C DSC Sensor: no data connection
5D8F DSC Sensor: internal fault

I was hoping to see an ABS sensor code, but of course that would be far too easy!
I am leaning towards the Yaw sensor. These seem ten-a-penny for pre-facelifts, but for the post-facelift you need to sell a kidney!

Any advice or a pointer to somewhere I can get a facelift sensor (34526769174) would be greatly appreciated.

NB. I've already stated that I bought this car from Sidewaze Samm.
I am in no way blaming him for this. It was at least 150 miles down the road before it occurred and given the way he made sure to show me every small blemish, half of which I still couldn't see, then I am certainly not pointing a finger.
I thought twice about asking for assistance on here in case people thought he'd conned me. Don't!

God they are expensive !! Cant help you with the fault but if it does turn out to be your yaw sensor it may be worth contacting this seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353667746336 as he may be able to repair your yaw sensor . Might be worth asking in advance anyway . Have just found this post also https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=124777

Aren't they just!
That's the trouble. I'm pretty certain that's where it's leading me but it's a lot of money just for a diagnostic swap.
Thanks for the link, I may well give him a call too.

Then Bigwinn tells me he got a pre-facelift one for a tenner :headbang:

Sorry to flag it up Steve.
No reflection on you whatsoever! These things happen.
Interestingly I reset and they haven't come back yet.
But I have luckily found a cheaper yaw sensor which should turn up in a day or two.
I'll keep you posted.

Also appreciate all your searching around on my behalf to find one.

I had this not very long ago. EBay replacement £35 ish (from a mini I believe) and all was well.
Thanks.
My searching has discovered that pre-facelift ones are around that price but unless you find someone who isn't in the know then post-facelift are anywhere between £150 & £300!

Just a follow up to this. Found a reasonably priced yaw sensor, which just arrived this morning.
I reset the error codes a couple of days back and the lights haven't come back since!
So either I've scared it with the threat of replacement, it was a transient fault, or it needs a longer journey for something to get warm enough to fail.
Whatever, I'm poised with the replacement. :)
