Bigwin (Stuart), had my car today to fit a Royal’s steering wheel, my new hydra dipped dashboard and centre console, an OE radio and he converted my fog lamps into DRLs. All done by 3.30pm. He had also managed to fit in moving a roof motor into the boot for someone else.
Not a bad work rate!
I am absolutely delighted with the new additions. Thanks Stuart. Great bloke.41DA7644-5811-43E0-9687-21952FC37762.jpeg845D516C-3CA7-4C04-AEF8-617E83942189.jpegB9B44E31-A9A8-4384-ACAC-CCDF835AC6A6.jpeg

Everyone including the neighbours commented on what a great looking car you have Ian! The wheels really suit it and the polish finish is stunning.

Thank you for sorting my wings out too- I really appreciate it!

Take care!

Great bloke.
Agreed

He also allowed me to strip some wiring out of his donor car and use his tools while he was working on your smart looking car Ian :)

Great to see you too Rob glad you harvested some stuff that will help!

So it seems there was a meeting of the Lincoln Z4 owners club today! That's what makes this forum so great.

Those DRLs look like a brilliant idea!

Stuart got the idea from another Forum member who had already converted his fog lights. The conversion doesn’t damage the lights and they could be returned to their original role.👍

Met Robbie today too from the forum- his 2.0 needed a roof motor resurrection and a go at the sticky steering

Top bloke

I would have thought someone of Stuart's ability would at least have got the steering wheel on straight. :poke: :D

Yes, I think we can all see how his steering got sticky. :o

Do you know Martin when I took that photo I knew someone would make a comment about the steering wheel not being straight.😜

Thank you Mark. It is a clever idea. I am really pleased with how the lights look and of course Stuart did a first class job of fitting them.👍

OK, you have me interested, those DRL's look great... now the question is where to get them...

I assume they are wired into an existing loom, but not the fog one.. so which one?

Any advice appreciated.

Also, in case I get lazy and can't be bothered to do them myself, where is bigwin located?

The original idea was Mark Plants. Stuart (Bigwin) lives near Lincoln. The bulbs came from Amazon and were £14.99. I will try to attach photos. As for the technical details you will need to contact Stuart. Hope this helps.27B5EF24-D313-4935-B0E1-B8F35E4735E6.jpeg

I got mine from Amazon but those are no longer available , they are just wired to ignition live and a ground, both can be found in engine bay fuse/relay box
