Hey guys, I'm new on here tho iv been using the forum for the last couple of months, Cheers for all the guides on here, I now have intravee and such fitted.

Picked up my z4 coupe about 3 months ago now (loving it!), still need to get some decent piccs.

But whilst taking my wheels of yesterday to clean out the insides, i decided to check out the springs (after reading on here how common they are to break), and what do you know, the rear left is snapped.. could of been like it for a while judging by the amount of rust.

So i phoned up the local bmw parts guys, and its £192 for both rear springs inc VAT

My car is the the 3.0 SI Sport, so it has the sport suspension that i gather is 15mm lower then the SE version?

Now i know eibach do a pro kit that lowers the car by 30mm on the front and 20mm on the back(£207), so would i be right in thinking that this work end up as a 15mm lower on the front and 5mm lower on the back?

if this is the case i might go with that option, and see if these are less prone to break.

I know allot of people have put the eibach's on, is there any opinions on what the ride quality is like after would?

(I know there have been allot of broken suspension topics, and i have sifted trough most of them, just looking for some opinions)

Yea, Non-Rfts is the next step as my current tyres wear out.

Im gona be fitting them my self, but did you need to get everything re-aligned and such after fitting them?
