Another stellar price tag on low mile MC

He has just gone up in my estimations :driving:

What - because he was wise and specced a good car with satnav and has therefore a valuable saleable item? :poke:

Why bonkers? :)
What was the new price of the car with that spec?
How many Z4 M Coupe's have < that cars milage? It's a rare beast
Jay Kay is known for sparing no expense on his cars. He used to have a BMW E30 M3 that I remember coming up for sale and it's condition was perfect.

If I could cope with the stress of owning such a low milage example and using it daily I'd be tempted but as a second car too much £ for me - and not that fond of black. WOuld be a shame to use it daily too I suppose :).
It's the same price as the 10k mile Hexagon car too :)

Bonkers because you can't drive it. Or if you do it will lose 10-14k in a year. So you can't really.

Depends how you look at things I guess but if you bought for example a new M235 you'd probably lose that amount in a year too and that's a given ? Put 50k miles on this and it will likely be worth more than an M235i with 50k miles on it? :)

Good point, but just at the moment, I can't help thinking there is a bit of a bubble in Z4 prices. Spring on the way etc. Not complaining though. Plus along with many, I agree the car is under valued next to the Boxter, Cayman so long term should hold value.

How much with it be worth in 1 years time with 20k on the clock?

Probably about the same (or slightly less) reduction in value as any other car that has 17k added in a year.

Not many Z4MC's do that sort of mileage though. Most are probably doing considerably less than 10k pa.

For the milage the car is practically new... So based on that the price is reasonable... However the car is still 7 years old... So rubber seals/ tires etc age... With that in mind i would never even contemplate getting such a old car which is hardly used.

I'd rather pay 10k less and get one which has cover 30k miles.

Just my opinion, but if someone bought it and put 10k on it in the first year you would lose around £5k-£6K straight away i would think.

Fair enough if someone wants to buy it and keep it locked up in a garage and never drive it but that doesn't seem like much fun to me!

At the end of the Day is still a 7 year old car with mega low mileage, I wouldn’t pay that much for it personally but its down to the individual I guess, I would rather buy a car with 30k-40k on the clock for around £20k or put in an extra £10k and get myself a nice 1M.

Everyone is different I guess which is a good thing but its not for me at £30k !

+1 i just posted something similar :)

That's an awesome example, ruby red too, "I'd buy that for a dollar" or even £30k

Nb. But yes would be worried about perishable materials and engine running.

This has been owned by JK. He knows what he's doing. He has a stable of supercar exotica and so I have no doubt this car will have been scrupulously maintained whilst in his care.
