Last I heard these were at £200 for a pair - Maybe its the bag that is upping the price

Need to look mine out.

Really, I think they may be there until the end date. Unless someone gets them on a cheeky low bid, at the close of play

I agree that seems rich,
But I must ask...
What kind of price should one expect to pay for these?

I would be in the market for a set of these if the price were right :D

Are these still available from BMW? What's the actual RRP?
Pretty sure they're not, and I bet people thought the list price for them was outrageous when they were available from BMW

They are no longer available, I think they were originally £150-200 depending on the country. Someone over on Z-Post was recently moaning that he missed a set in the US that went for $450!

Daft thing is when follk sell their Zed on, very few people are going to give more money for these. So they end up taking them off and selling them on separately.

I guess where there is a market you pays the going rate, if you want something.

I have them, most useless accessory ever... forget they are there, put the roof up and pop they go across the car park

I hope you're keeping them in a safe, ready to fund your retirement  (at least until someone finally works out how to 3d print a decent set...)

For reference, I just bought a set from a fellow forum member for £180 delivered. The day before we agreed that price a pair went for £167 on ebay.

Also don't see the point of these really. I've bought them for when the hard top is on but I have a suspicion I'll conclude they don't make much difference when I come to fit in a few weeks.

The main purpose of these, I thought, was to cut wind noise - the only bit of these that would interest me. I guess you’ll have a slightly more aesthetically pleasing view through your back window?

That's the theory yes - I went to the trouble of sourcing some internal lock covers just to make everything look tickety-boo when the hard top is on, so thought I'd try the side covers too just to be 100% perfect (though I'm still to find the smaller top lock cover, grrrr) safe in the knowledge that I can sell on if they make no tangible difference.

I think its time to invest in a 3D printer.. could make plenty of money for 3D printing replacement plastic parts!

People have been saying this for years, no one has managed to get a pair to 3d scan and no one is brave enough to lend them out in order to get them scanned.

Im waiting for a stl file to get posted on Thingyverse as there are plenty of places that will print a stl file for the price of the material its generating the model that is a complete PITA.

Someone has posted photos next to a ruler for someone to try and had model them but the thread went dark.
