Another sheep with CSL's

Something I'd always planned on doing since I got my MC was putting CSL's on it. Finally plucked up the courage to tell the wife I'd bought some and it now looks like this:

Very pleased too, is it me or does the steering feel much better with the CSL's on?

Supposedly the wider track of authentic CSLs does improve the steering, noted in Evo when they drove Steve Davies' car. Can't wait to snag some for myself!

Yes mine steers much nicer on the CSL's but I wasn't sure how much was because of the PS2 tyres and how much was due to the different wheels and tyre sizes. What tyres have you got on?

I'm also on PS2's, I didn't like them on my Alpina, but for the few miles I've done today it's a big improvement!

Very Nice....

I just pulled the trigger (today) on four new wheels. I was going to by the CSL's but my wife did not like them....

Getting ready to buy the tires. I am looking at 235/40 R18's all the way around. Not sure yet... if I should go with 225/40's or the 235's. Have to do some for calculations...

Lovely Shunt :)

I think the improved feel is more down to the PS2s myself, than the wheels so much. Although the reduction in unsprung weight of the lighter CSL wheels will have an effect...

You mind if i ask where you bought them from?

I bought them from a guy who'd just sold his Z4MC, he'd done 3000 miles on them. They are as new and cost me much less than new. :D :D :D

How much do they weigh? are they lighter than the normal Z4 wheels?
I have the split rim wheels and have been thinking of getting CSL's for a while now.
Also my coupe is not an M so would the fitments still be correct?

Yes they're lighter than stock, not sure how much though. The offsets would be incorrect for your coupe though, they'd stick out of the arches a touch too much.

love the CSL's hopely i'll be able to scrimp enough fo a set myself later in the year :)

like the 2 tone interior, mines anthracite/estoril blue :D how do you find the piano black? thats the one thing i would of liked on mine, though the sales guy didn't speak highly of it, saying it was prone to finger prints and sratches

They look really nice. Im thinking of getting them for mine. They are 19s right? Can you just whack them straight on then? And will it affect performance/speedo readings?

Oh I so want these now, they look amazing!! Can someone give me prices and a decent place to buy them(uk)? Now all I need is an excuse to justify it to myself...
