I joined the non-RFT club today with a set of Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric. All I can say is WOW! I was always a bit suspicious of all the claims at how much better non-RFTs are, but it's all true, it really does feel like a completely different car.
Believe it or not, the first thing I noticed on the top down ride home was how much different the car sounds. The Bridgestone RFTs had a very distinctive hum which is completely gone leaving the exhaust note much more pronounced. No question that the car has lost harshness, while gaining responsiveness. The only downside is that you do feel slightly less 'connected' to the road.
