Another possibility ?

Found another worth considering - a bit closer to home - not red but looks a good combination with the cream leather and cheaper ! Not an approved BMW and have no knowledge of this garage.

Need to get back to a z4 - been looking at alternatives ( Boxster ) but everything points back to the zed ie size , performance ,looks and economy.

What do you think of this one?

The wood interior is like mine, a more expensive option but dates the car.

I am swapping it to Aluminium, more bland but better to live with.

There is a nice one on the site here for good money.

may have found the "one " - 57reg 3.0 si sport Coupe 16k miles - approved BMW car with Full BMWSH - silver - just like my old Z4 with a roof!

Can't get to see it till next Friday but fingers crossed ! Price just over £13k but as I have no p/e might get a bit off.

Not going to jinx things so won't show link till I've seen it.

Which wood trim and leather interior do you have?

Popped in to our local ( and only ) BMW garage here on the IOW today - purpose was to ensure if I bought an approved BMW elsewhere ( off the Island ) I wanted to ensure they would honour the warranty if something went wrong. Interestingly the salesman said as it was an approved BMW car they might be able to acquire it themselves and sell it to me direct. I , of course must stay out of the loop to allow this to happen. If they can match the price then it would make life a lot easier with no time and money spent on getting it down here. I would have to buy unseen but as its an approved car it's probably worth the risk - the preparation by BMW is normally second to none and if there are minor things to do to faciltate my OCD I'm sure it could be done. I've checked a number of BMW approved across the South coast and there's very few , if any coupes for sale at the moment and none as low a mileage as the one I'm interested in. He is going to ring me tomorrow to tell me what he can do. If he can't match the price I can still negotiate with the original garage .

If you do a search and see one you like somewhere then I would have thought there would be a number of people on here who could have their arm twisted to go have a look at it before you commit to buy :)

Just been reading Tallsteve's recent thread - this is the same car I've been looking at - non standard exhaust ? loud ticking ? Dealer a bit too keen ? Car has clearly been around for some time despite being very low mileage and being an AUC.

Too many question marks for me -------------- I'm out!
