Although it's quite possible that a positive article on an ///M-car might carry more weight if it were on a website other than one that's dedicated to BMW cars...

Looks like it's come from here http://www.carbuzz.com/news/2016/2/22/Future-Collectibles-You-Should-Buy-Today-BMW-Z4-M-Coupe-7732096/

Nice, but sadly slates the roadster a bit, which is

The Coupe will no doubt be more collectable in future, but the roadster is just as much if not more fun(on a dry day),which made me delibaerate long and hard when buying mine about 5 years ago, when there was little between them price wise, but would have missed the roof down fun :driving:
Also, both sold in similar numbers in the UK,so the Coupe isn't any rarer on this side of the pond :D

The coupe will be the car for collecting for pure aesthetics but I agree, to drive there's nothing in it. That said the boot sure is handy in the coupe and I can safely say I've only yearned for the top down on a handful of occasions. I'm very pleased I went coupe this time around!

Small amount of drizzle and freezing cold last night... still had the roof down for its first drive in months! Love my 85!

Here in Oz the roadster is actually quite a bit rarer (76 vs 120-odd coupes sold)!

That is rare, low numbers for both.

Also very restricted on what you can bring into the country here (for now) so chances are that number will only decline
