Another one joins the garage

Thanks all.

The black looks stunning in the sun and suits the car. Inspiration is the OG P1 where the press cars were black and really stood out for me. I think the skittle colours look good on the Lamborghinis, even modern Ferraris look better with a slightly subtle black, green etc

A better picture of the carbon black under some good lighting.

Very understated; that! :D :poke:
I presume they are fixing the doors under warranty?

 it'll be a shade of brown within 5 miles of collecting it. I've gone full Miami Vice with supercar collection in a drizzly January.

Another one joins the crew.

Bought it on Wednesday, on track on Saturday. It has opened a new chapter in driving pleasure, the Mclaren does the duality extremely well and IMO even better than a 911 but the Exige is single minded in it's efforts to make you connected to the road like nothing else with a roof + aircon.

Even getting in and out of it adds to the drama.

Exige S with 460 Komotec kit and a host of other modifications. 456 bhp and 1070kg, definitely doesn't hang around.

I still have a lot of time for the 987.2 S which has some very tasteful mods to make it an exceptional road car with track capability.

Wavetrak LSD, GT3 front and Cayman R suspension arms all around, GT3 brakes with Girodiscs, PDK cooler. Cobb tune, uprated engine mounts, PASM Bilstein B8's with Cayman R springs and roll bars etc

Having driven many 911s, I really prefer the mid engined balance (hence owning a Mclaren, MR2, Exige and Cayman). If I needed a daily useable sports car with 2 seats I would consider a 992 Turbo S but right now I prefer my GTR.

It's been awhile since this was updated, the garage is now full to overflowing to the extent plans applied for a new one. Things have escalated a bit and a V12, V10, V8 NA, V8 turbo x 2, V8 supercharged, V6 supercharged, V6 NA, I6 and 2 x flat 6 make up the fleet.

Having never intended to become a hoarder, I'll probably start thinning them out a bit but in reality they do all drive quite differently with various nuances which keep it interesting.

:o Quite the collection, congratulations!

So, the big question. Which keys do you instinctively go for if you want to go for a fun drive out?

I would say the big question is; are you a stock broker, a footballer, or a drug dealer? There are way over a million quids worth of cars there.

Makes me feel a total failure TBH. So thanks for that OP.

Dentist IIRC, or did I misremember that?!

Presumably:
Aston Martin,

?V8 NA is the SL(K),
Ferrari and McLaren,
?Jaguar or ?RR of some description,
Exige,
?what is the V6 NA - or is that the SL(K)?
Z4
Cayman and 911

Since you clearly have a few spares and limited space, can I store a couple for you. You even can decide which :D

Whatever he is that's a fantastic collection of cars!
I agree; it is.
He does only ever post on the forum to update us plebs on his 'supercars' these day, though.

You wouldn't be able to afford the shipping to Aus, what with you being a lowly surgeon.
