Hello all!

I've been lurking here and a few other forums for sometime. I finally decided you lot are the best fit for me. This forum is a true community, instead of the more usual "Waaah, my car's broken, help me!" There also seems to be a good mix of various Z4 models, as opposed to mostly Ms, or Z3s, or E89s. Even though this group is predominantly UK, I think I can relate to you guys more than I can my fellow yanks.

I've had my Z4 (E85 as you can see) for a bit more than a year, I started lurking because the winter here just wouldn't end, so forums were the only Z4 related thing I could do. You can see in the photo there's still a lot of snow here, but at least the sun is finally out once in a while and the temps are getting up to low teens (C). Still gets sub-zero at night, so the "warm" hours are still limited.

So, anyway, this one's mine. It's hard to tell that it's deep green, and not black, which is what I think is so cool about this color, it almost looks black in the shade. Also, you just don't see it much. Proudly not a greytone! Other than some minor tweaks, it's totally stock.

Hi and welcome, what colout is the interior, I'm guessing beige but it looks darker than that.

Welcome along and good choice (Zed and forum choice  )
You'll be doing well in the sure-to-be-upcoming-again 'your car in heavy snow' picture theme then :D

Thanks for all the complements. I'll try to answer all your questions here without the usual context quotes. Yeah, I'm lazy.

Interior's beige Oregon Leather. It looks darker because the sun's not on it in the pic. I would have loved a saddle brown interior, beige is too light and rather impractical, but brown wasn't available that year. Tan top too, as you may have noticed.

I'm in NW Wyoming, elevation close to 2000m. I don't consider it the frozen north, as I'm only at 43 deg latitude. The elevation is good for several more degrees though. :) The car gets put away for winter, so I'm not as much of a lock for deep snow photos as you might think. I take it out for a bit during the winter when the roads are more or less dry, just to keep it's juices flowing, but I don't really go anywhere, just far enough to avoid the lifter clatter thing.
