Evening all, been lurking for a few months now and I thought it was time to register and say hello.
9 months into ownership of my first z (but not first bmw) and loving it! Really don't know what I would replace it with, it's brilliant in every way. I wasn't sure having a 2 seater sports car as my only car would be practical, but I'm single, no kids, young (ish!) So I thought hey, you only live once. I'm a life long bmw fan and owned a few, mainly 3 series coupes with performance mods, always loved the z4 shape and decided to go for a 3.0si sport coupe, and to say I'm happy with it is an understatement!
My only must haves were xenons, sat nav and sports seats. It's my only car so it gets used every day to work and every weekend for fun and it's a lot of fun.
So far only done servicing/maintenance, black kidney grilles, upgraded front discs/pads, stubby aerial and Bosch s5 battery.
Future mods/jobs on the list include CDV delete, strut brace, exhaust system, wheel refurb and dents removed/front bumper respray.
I'm originally from London but am now in Herts/Bucks/Beds between Aylesbury and Hemel, and hope to come along to some meets/drives locally, and in London a lot so I'm up for things there too.
Hope to meet some fellow zed heads soon!
I found out about this forum from my car having a z4 forum sticker on the top of the back window, maybe someone knows the car here? 57 reg.
