Another New Owner - MASS

Hi everyone!

I'm yet another new owner and I will be taking delivery of my "new" 2010 Z4 on friday! This ends a VERY long shopping trip! I started my mid life crisis by looking at a lotus elise. I LOVED it but my wife had serious reservations that were somehow grounded in reality. Like, I'm 6' 5" and had serious problems seeing out the windshield, can you believe she worries about that? But wow what a car!

Anyway, I spent many many weeks reading about and shopping for all the regular suspects, boxster, TT, SLK, etc. I narrowed it down eventually to SLK 300 vs Z4 and the Z4 won. I can't wait to drive it friday through the finger lakes of NY!

Next I have to start reading about the care and feeding of this beast!
 
Ok I've had my 2010 Z4 3.0 for just about a week and I think I've put about 700 miles on it. It's black and it's my first black car ever. WOW is that hard to keep clean! I'll manage though. I have the white leather interior and found that the passenger seatbelt leaves a black mark on the upper right bolster. Gotta get some good leather cleaner for that I guess.

Yesterday i was messing around with the iDrive and found the oil level screen. It indicated just a bit over min which was slightly worrisome to me with a car that only has 14k miles on it. My dealer is less than a mile from my office so I dropped in to ask (http://www.bmwofnewport.com) WOW were they helpful! They told me that was normal consumption (and I'm now reading that is true) so whew!

LOVE the car, so glad I bought it!
