Morning All,

Newly bought into the word of Z4's with a Silver 2004 3.0i & loving it.

It's a 4th car in our flock, recently upgraded from a Mk1 MX5. My other toy is a 550 bhp Evo & 520d touring for work while the mrs potters about in a Peugeot 207. Although I'm struggling to get her out of the Z

The Z4 is a 2 owners from new, 82K & recently had the roof motors done at a BMW dealer. Very happy with it apart from lack of DAB & Bluetooth. I'm not sure which route to go down to get around this without loosing the factory look. Any suggestions?

Hi and welcome - 3.0 good buy

Any photos for us? - you must have worked out that people want to see how good it is

Some pictures....

Nice clean looking Zed - and better still a roadster

Still a lot of top down days before next summer - I did Norfolk to Manchester and back topless on Monday of this week even managed to drive fast enough over Woodhead to keep the raindrops in the slipstream not the car interior. get the top down; heaters on and go and enjoy it :driving:

Hello and welcome, nice car but it would look so much better on other rims (personal choice of course)

The bigger split rims were my preference, but these are ok & in good condition

Are there any recommended mods or improvements?

I like to keep things standard however, 1 mod I would love is aero skirts

oh and i'm assuming you have an aluminium dash, the piano trim or leather trim looks so much nicer

Welcome to the forum very nice looking car maybe worth getting the roof motor moved into the boot seeing as it is new, either way lovely looking Zed
Matt.

Welcome along, Zed looks very tidy.
You are asking about recommended mods or improvements and I have to agree with Taz - I'd be looking to swap those wheels out at some point. A set of 18" MV2s or 224s would seriously improve the look.

Thanks all, I've seen the roof motor mod on the forum, definately worth doing. I'll have a google of the wheels & aero skirts.

Here's a pic of my first Zed on MV2s

...but, if you are in a place that gets snow or other inclement weather in winter, and are partial to having a set of winter wheels, keeping them for that after you have your 224s :D would be a good idea. I had a battered set I used on my last Z in the winter. Not that we really get winter in Kent...

Welcome to the forum
