Why didn't you take the camber pins out? Seems silly not too considering how easy it is to do

Rest if the adjustments seems ok and you did the right thing regarding the rear camber

Bet it's driving better

Tbh they wouldnt do that .even with my permission.and as its only a wee bit out to the other side i aint too bothered.
The original readings were out coz ive changed all and i mean all ont suspension .steering etc.
Zed drives spot on again now so happy days.

Right, I found the camber pins.
Do I take them out before I go to the garage for alignment and leave them out after its done or do I have to put them back in.

Take them out now, saves them trying to say they wont do it.

They are simple to remove

I'd say MC autos in south London. I've had my Z4 there and they got both sides spot on. I'm sure they'll be happy to match what ever setup you give them. Or pull one from the database. Not BMW specialist per say but deal with some highly modded cars and had no issues installing my supplied parts etc

Ok, do I have to put the pins back in after they've aligned the camber?

Buckz, thanks mate I'll give them a call as well to check what they can do for me.

So at the moment I've got a few questions to ask the garages you suggested before I decide which one to try first (do they know about the camber pins, adding weight and custom alignment for better handling).

Looks like the last two I used are not the most knowledgable around (ProTyre in Enfield and A&S Tyres in South Woodford)

no, you don't need to put the pin back in. You'll see if you remove one of the 3 nuts holding the shocks in that the holes are slotted - the adjustment on front camber comes from sliding the top mount of the shock either inboard or outboard (most likely inboard for more negative camber). if the garage adjusts it at all, the pin wouldn't go back in anyways as it would be out of alignment.

Nope leave them out

As we are sharing Hunter results, the discussion above got me curious having no idea when my car was last aligned (if ever) so today I took it into Elite in Reading with the following results. Certainly an improvement, I did remove the alignment pins before taking it in but wasnt allowed into the workshop "health and safety and insurance mate"..so couldnt see what adjustments were made. Mine is a Sdrive35iS. Not possible to check if the handling feels any different on the way back though.

Looking at those results, id say they have not changed your front camber.

If they have its not even!
