Another fabric roof protector question

Just having my new Z4 ceramic coated and been given the option of having the fabric roof coated for 50% off. (£60 instead of £120). My last G29 which was 3 years old when I P/x'd it showed clear signs of greeny right down in the base near the bodywork and stained quite easily. So I am minded to give some kind of extra protection.
Does a new Z4 come with any fabric protection? Surely BMW engineers are more knowledgeable than my local ceramic coater.....

I couldn't find the answer to this so to be on the safe side I had my detailer apply a fabric protector to the roof whilst he was doing the rest of the car. My zed lives outside and any bird droppings which have landed on the hood easily wipe off and don't leave any residual marks.

I think all new roof fabric has built in protection, however I don't think any additional protection is a bad thing.
My G29 wasn't new when I bought it, so straight away I carried out a comprehensive clean, and then applied additional protection.
I used Gtechnic I1 Smart Fabric Protection. At £26 for a bottle, combined with the results I now see when it rains (watching it totally repel the water), its a no brainer 👍🏼
