Another EPS / Torque sensor failure- looking for help

I took the whole seat out - and even then it was upside down on my back ( Barry / Umfaam) also on his back as we got to the bolts, cables and plugs holding it all together - bloke in the video must have done loads to know exactly where the 8 bolts and the ECU plugs were located whilst staying out of the footwell. We found that even after loads of penetrating fluid, the end of the column at the Universal Joint in the engine bay was seized in and so had to use a cut off screw driver to force / hammer open the two parts of the UJ that are squeezed together by the torx bolt.

Absolutely take the seat out unless your very small and a contortionist, steering wheel off will also give you more space to lay inside the footwell on your back. Got one to do quite soon, not looking forward to it having been through it previously.

Ten minutes to get the seat and wheel off. Then you can comfortably lay on your back and see everything without any twisting around.
@colb - the first half dozen are the worst, after that it gets easier.
