About 2 1/2 years ago I was lucky enough to buy a lovely Imola Red Z4MR but sadly after only a year or so of ownership it had to go. I work in the oil and gas sector and as you all know it took a real nosedive at one point and I just couldn't justify keeping the car. The good thing is the car has gone on to be pampered by Cracker from the forum, the bad thing is whenever it pops up on the forum I have a little sinking feeling cos I really didn't want to sell that car.

After a short stint in a god awful Renault I was lucky enough to stumble onto a Ruby Black 3.0si, it was a cat d and a flimper spec but that meant it was going cheap so I've been a very happy owner of that for a year now. For sale on ebay by the way

Thing are looking a lot better in the world of work for me now so I started to think about maybe having a look at a new car. As much as I loved the ///M as a daily driver it was a bit hardcore and a bit of a chore (in the nicest way) so I've ended up with the next best thing, and my 4th Z an e89 35i. I've only driven it the 105 miles home but I'm a very happy chappy.

Very nice
How are you getting on with the auto box ?

The 3.0si I've been running is an auto so it's been an easy switch, I did look at a manual but decided I quite like the auto for a daily driver. The Dct gearbox is great, so quick and smooth.

That looks a well specced beauty & in the more desirable (imo) Se platform
Did you check the inside edges of the 296s before paying up :( :?

For cracks? It's had one wheel replaced because of cracks and I've had the garage put a fresh mot on the car and check over a few of the usual weak spots while they were on.

All should be good then  296s are a great looking wheel on the 89

Great looking e89 you must be pleased with it.

296 do look great hope they last for you. Do you still have run flats fitted ?

Cracking looking Z - you might want to take it back though...looks like they put your steering wheel on upside down. :poke:

Very nice
Love that colour.
Garage looks familiar - is it near Manchester but in the middle of no where? Can't remember the name
Difficult to find though :)
I went to look at a black one there last May - he had some tidy motors

Nice spec,DCT and adaptive suspension of note, best of all, sport seats on an SE which is rare unless the pure white design was specified.

The garage is called Moss Hall. It's just outside a place called Heywood not far from Rotherham/Manchester.

I did look at a couple of black ones with the pure white design package, they did look nice but my job involves me and my clothes getting dirty and I think I'd ruin the interior in no time.
