I just got a Stormforce cover for £140 delivered, so far the car is nice and dry

Where did you get the Stormforce one from. I've seen it on the cover-zone website but it's £164
Here you go, looks like they have gone up £4 since last week, blame Brexit

Do the cars you are covering have aerials? Don't want to bend mine, but can't put a cover on easily with it.

You just unscrew it off. I've actually got a little rubber protector that I put on mine when the aerial isn't on, just so it doesn't scrape against the inside of the cover.

I used to just unwind mine and leave in boot
But I've completely taken mine off and fitted in boot now so no issues
But as gold said get a rubber cap so doesn't catch cover :)

Bugger. Snapped off. Need to drill it out or replace the aerial entirely.
Simply hold Base
Unscrew the bottom of the Aerial from inside boot
Left hand side underneath base
Then sort it :)

It comes out easily enough, doesn't it! Thanks.

Just need an aerial now! You know when you wish you hadn't started somerthing?

Still not decided on a cover and tbh, I don't think any cover would have protected the car from the pounding it's had today! Just been out to see how she is and covered in leaves, rain (obviously), sycamore seeds and I also realise I need to proof the hood so the water beads off. :(

I have a cheap Chinese one for a small car. About £15 I think it was, to cover my Smart Roadster. Breathable, and meant to let a bit of water through, but keeps main force of the rain off, and all the foliage flying around as well. Not perfect but works fine and fits the Zed just.

Well mines happily sat covered from bottom to top and still in one piece and car all clean and dry underneath
Take a few pics in morning:)

With yours where do the straps go? I can't quite make it out from their website whether they go before the front wheels and after the back ones and then one in the middle or whether there's a couple that go in the middle? If they go before and after the wheels then it might be a straight forward thing for me to attach each time.

That they do buddy
That's easy to strap up
The middle one I use bungee cord tied to each end of the tie
Then I use a long handled mini roller handle to catch it
The bungee pulls it back and keeps it tight.
It sat now since last Tuesday and it's not budged

Thanks for this. You never know I might actually buy one before the summer comes around again!!! Just going to wait until Black Friday and see if any of these sites have an extra bit of discount :)

Always up for helping others buddy
I would scrimp on a good external cover though as trust me I've tried a lot
Large sized halfords one is very good
Depends how much want to spend and quality wanted buddy
This is best I've used and easiest to fit
Halfords one is light and lifts in wind etc

Ps call up ask for mandy and say Marc with z4mr recommended them and see what says?
I've got both covers from them
