gonna save myself a bit of dough and try conti sport contact 2 runflats instead of the bridgestones as all four have to be done, has anyone got any experience of these tyres?
only saving £100 but it all counts at the moment!

Kwikfit are doing 4 RE050A's for £688 (this is based upon 225 front and 255 rear). It's a special offer when you buy 4 tyres online.

Don't know how this compares to Conti sports?

I have conti sports on the front of mine, a lot less tramlining. Seem to be quite good grip wise.
I've put the remaining bridgstones on the back to try and get shot of them faster

so continental makes a run-flat. Hmmmm. The more the merrier I say, a little competition never hurt development!

Does the the choice of RFT impact the BMW warrenty? It would be useful to know exactly what the restrictions are on tyre brand if anyone can shed any light on this?

I would think brand had nothing to do with it as long as they're run-flats. If you switch to non-runflat and have a blow out, you'll be out of luck as far as BMW is concerned.

Personally, the Bridgestones have been fine, learned about tramlining in my 325 so it's not a surprise when my Z does it. They're getting a bit worn now and loud so I'll be putting on fresh rubber this fall.

what tyres you use will not affect your warranty, you can even use non run flats without issue.

the contis have turned out to be great, big improvement on bridgestones and 20% cheaper, tramlining has gone!!! :)
