Giving the Z a good clean today and decide to have the stereo on for a bit of back ground noise. I was actually embarrassed by the noise the car was making so I turned it off and fired up the system in my 3 series, only to find that made the same god awful noise from outside the car.
The best way to explain it is any sort of bass frequency sounds farty, flappy and distorted. From outside the car.
I know this isn’t the biggest of issues, but it got me thinking, if things sound this bad from the outside, surely the entire system would benefit massively from some form of sound proofing to eliminate the panel buzz?
