Another 3.0Si

After looking for a while and missing out on a couple of good ones...bagged myself a nice 3.0Si last month.

2007 3.0Si Sport
Silver Grey with Amarone Individual, one of 11 apparently
47k on the clock, never failed an MOT...
Enthusiast owned, so roof motor sorted!

I have a few jobs to do on it, namely some paintwork, suspension (H&R springs, too low) and wheels (cannot make up my mind) as well as a brake upgrade...looking forward to getting stuck in. Had a Z4MC years ago, so all feels very familiar...the N52 is a total joy and the steering, nowhere near as bad as reports had led me to believe...

That's a lovely looking car & in a great combination .
Love the 2 tone wheels i suspect they have spacers behind , it sits very well 8)
As you point out RE the steering , i've never really got the criticism of it either :? in manual guise there is plenty of connection from car - driver , if you want a heavier feel on the wheel try running the front tyres on half pressure :P

Thank you! No spacers yet....bought some for it then changed my mind, thinking something with a lower ET instead? But the 108s are pretty classic, hence can't make up my mind. It's on H&R springs with M Sport dampers and rides surprisingly well IMO - but it is VERY low... scrapes here and there. I am thinking Bilstein B12 or STX Coilovers...

Love the interior. Lovely car.

I wish mine was red (or what ever colour they call it) rather than black.

Lovely colour combo but those wheels don’t do it justice imho. It’s not exactly unique but I think a nuce set of csl reps would do wonders for it. Agree on the ride height been on the low side too. Might be a better option to put some spring pads on rather than change the shocks?

That's a great looking Z4, and the interior looks fantastic with Amarone and Piano Black.

And it's barely run-in at 47K. I fitted some E89 wheels to my 2nd Coupe as they have much lower ETs, but looking at your car you'd get rubbing on those H & R springs. :(

Welcome back to Z4 ownership, nice colour combo, I guess wheels are all a matter of personal taste but I like the ones that are on the car. At those miles tour car should drive well. Cheers

Great looking car with a perfectly matched interior and the wheels look brilliant too. You must be chuffed to bits.

Thanks all!

Yeah I do like the 108”s and I do plan to change the suspension set up anyway - so maybe wheels can wait...

Also like the look,as said,Silver Grey with the Amarone red interior is a great combo.
I like the wheels, had exactly that same two tone colour on my 05 reg 3.0i back in 2007,as my winter wheels albeit. They still look good, but think that CSL style/oe would look great too.
Or,the multispoke ones that Rob has on his Red M....
Ispiri ffr6 I believe, as they look great on the Roadsters
