Have to say, in spite of the problems, having the roof down on a sunny day previously made up for most of the problems - and the reason we've kept is so long.
Mine is now going after 5 years (purchased new). I also planned to change at the end of the year, we've just brought the change forward to avoid spending the money repairing the manifold and aircon. My wife pointed out to me that I'd be looking very sad all weekend following a part-exchange to a (soon to be required) sensible car.
As with others, I couldn't decide between 4cyl and 6cyl, but found the 4cyl 2.0 very enjoyable ... and still do so opted to save the additional cash.
You'll mostly only find negative things on forums ... generally people (including myself) speak up when we've something to gripe about
If you get one, just keep a little money in reserve for maintenance!

I've been reading this thread with great interest as my 2007 2.0i has developed a slight 'burble' on start up and when engaging the bite point as I go in to first gear or reverse. It feels like a slight blowing, flappy sound and was wondering what kind of issue I'm looking at having to deal with :?
I have no emissions light or any other symptoms on my car, it passed it's MOT only 6 weeks ago and was serviced in October 2013.
Can anyone offer any advice please? I'd really appreciate it.
