Has anyone got any experience of these guys?
Near Oulton Broad, Lowestoft way.

I contacted them regarding a remap on my 20i and just got the following response,

"Yes we can help you with these. We quote around 270BHP on these with 420NM of torque, which is a massive increase over standard.
We have a rolling road and can prove these results on dyno, showing mid range power curve also.
Price wise on this on Dyno you would be looking at £290, this includes before and after dyno graph"

Now I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, but i thought this seemed cheap?
I will be asking more questions of them, but for now i'm assuming this is a standard remap for them, with a quick blip before and after to prove it's all good.

£290 sounds fair. It'll be the same map that any other garage apply, some would have you believe there's an element of customisation but that's sales BS to try make them stand out from the crowd.

Ask for a before and after dyno and tell them to keep correction factors the same for both runs. Should give you an idea of the true power figure as most places will try inflate it.

Tbh, until very recently I was up for the Celtic visit to my door, but Peter's experience has pushed me towards the rolling road guys.
Quite happy to take a stock remap, as long as I have the graphical proof that it does what it says it does.
The before and after dyno are quoted in the price. They seem to have a very good rep so I suppose it's in their interests to provide proof of what they achieve.
Thanks for the correction factors tip. Would be my first time on a dyno, so learning as I go.

No; when I had problems with my RS - slight stutter at 70+ in third (for some reason Abbygate couldn't make it happen in the workshop - but ask me about when I took the mechanic out to show him!). Took it to Clive Atthowe in Norwich - fantastic job. Had all sorts of very tasty cars in.

I initially spoke to Clive Athowe, but after an initial response they have not responded to my email. I rang and got a bored sounding woman who said they were busy, took my number and said she'd get someone to call within the hour.
48 hours later, I'm going elsewhere!

I went down and stood at the door! In fact I think the guys at Ford told me to.

He is busy - loads of people travel to take cars to him which I guess is a plus point

There is another place in Suffolk that the Caterham owners use a lot - I'll try and remember who and where he is.

Cheers, if the guy is too busy to call me back he doesn't need my money :)
