Angel lights standard on a Z4M?

I just bought a Z4MR in black and realised with side lights on that the side lights are "angel" type lights. Is this standard on an M car or an extra?

Wonder if you buy the PIAA LED upgrades it would make our angel eyes look better? I don't want to go cracking into a headlight that's still under warranty. :?

Are they standard on the standard Z4 as well or just M car? I've just never noticed them on any other Z4s..

They became standard on all at the facelift. As said they are an inferior AE. in reality just a notched plastic ring, that when backlit, glows.

It's possible to do a lot better and BMW shoudl have and nobody makes a proper AE unit as used on some of the higher colume Bimmers.
