Maniac, not trying to single out anyone too much (ok I lie), but really, why do you belittle so many people on this forum? Why is it you think everyone else who asks a reasonable question should be made to look a PITA? We all own the same car as you, fair enough you are knowledgable and often helpful but I've seen many occasions on here where actually you were wrong on topics or other members have provided you with useful information, so we can all learn, you included. Just chill out and accept this is z4-forum.com, not maniacsz4-forum.com. YES we know you have a 35. YES we know you've had loads of problems with it. YES we there is a search button. YES we know that a problem (like a noisy fuel pump) isn't a problem and we are all overreacting until maniac experiences it on his own car, at which point it turns into the biggest z4 issue known to mankind.
We know all this now, the king of the z4 forum status is a bit old hat. Just let people go about their business and try and resist the temptation to make them feel small, if possible
.The funny thing (fact?) is that the people that are slating Maniac for telling people to use the 'search function' are not prolific on the forum in terms of posting how to's or general help…
Like Maniac, I also think old and new members should utilise the search function a bit more, or even try Google (try entering Z4 forum in the criteria to target the search) I mean we all must use some form of a search engine when online, so its not like its a new thing that popped up overnight
So before you whip us down for asking people to search, check your own contribution to see what you have provided in the way of helpful content over the years on this forum

I thought I'd chip in. As recent Z4 owner I've a asked a few questions, and I've replied to a few threads. Certain members can be very offish to the point of attempting to belittle you. It seems to be a clique at certain times,not friendly at all. Just how I see it. It doesn't bother me, I can see how it can bother others.
And that one as well and now you're having a go at me for trying to help you see the point brought up by the others. I really don't get what's wrong with just realising certain folk could be nicer to people and say sorry rather than attack them. There's clearly a perception that you and some others could be nicer to people so I don't see why it's a problem to respect their perceptions and apologise saying it wasn't intended as you seem to kind of imply. That would be the decent thing to do in my view
