Hello again, I'm on the hunt for some more info!! Has anyone bought the angel eye kits from e-bay? I wondered if it's worth getting a set or not as I love the look but if there going to be a pig to fit I might give it a miss! Many thanks. :)

think you might have a hard job fitting them into the sealed headlight units...

CJ has done it but not without a spare set of headlights and a lot of nerve :D

As gannet says you need another spare set of lights, some of the sellers on ebay even had the cheek to use a picture of CJ's car to advertise there AE's

Sadly ebay sellers don't seem concerned about what you'll do with them having purchased them.

As noted I've actually had to get heavy to stop a couple of companies using my car as a demo to scam the unsuspecting

Post the link - I'm curios who you're looking at

what do Z4s have as standard? I think mine has one pretty faint halo when sidelights are on - are there any versions with the dual halos? I do miss that from my E92 running lights

mrklaw - yours is a facelift so it has a limited form of AE that iirc uses a notched tube like moulding that is backlit from a single point by a 5w bulb. It does provide an AE effect.

Pre facelift had nothing at all

The mod people tend to reference is fitting CCFL tubes that are near full circle white light.

Thanks guy's I think I'll be giving it a miss, don't have the money for a new set of headlamps!

I just took a close look at mine-only the inner rings light up as DRL. Is this correct? They then go off when headlights are on. Sure wish our Angel Eyes were like the other cars-all 4 light up as DRL.

If I have the DRL disabled, will the inner circles light up when headlights are on?
