STILL haven't fitted mine yet but hope the glue holds. I've added extra aluminium foil tape as belt and braces
 
Good job on the fix johnny.

If it still steams up, apply a bead of silicone sealant (clear) where you've already glued it. You'll probably need it as it's getting wetter and wetter now.

Could always get some 'covers' fabricated to hide to small area you'll see when you open the bonnet.

I was going to do my angel eyes but i'm thinking of selling up, so don't really want to spend any more modding the car.
 
That did make me laugh!

Least it fell off with you banging it and not a pot hole.

Your selling your Zed???? Why not keep mod and get another car like me?
Ive gone round the whole cut area with black electric tape, cant really tell now :thumbsup:

Fancy something with more power but also less harsh riding. A lowered z4 on 19's doesn't make for a great commuter car :lol:

Been looking at e46 m3's and 135i's. Gives me 2 more seats aswell which always comes in handy.
 
I've found the perfect engine for your car Jonny.

Nice V12 from a lamborghini murcielago. Place in Southampton has it for sale. I'm sure we could make it fit :wink:

you might need a big hole in the top of your bonnet though.
 
Deja vu, this is Jonny. Spent the last 24 hrs doin exactly the same as one of my ccfl AE's died on me.

Nice job you did there. Hope you had less stress getting your bumper back on sfterwards than I did!
 
Decided (after jonney's teasing) to at least put the recently painted facelift bumper on the car. Took pre-facelift one off and found that quite a bit of the black plastic which holds the lower clips has cracked. Spent a little time piecing it all together and fibreglassing it. Ran out of daylight so abandoned till tomorrow. Neighbours all think I've pranged it :D

The bloody side clips were a nightmare to line up. I was covinced that the bumper had shrunk whilst lying on the garage floor overnight! Just as I was about to resort to a bit of technical wizardry (aka rubber mallet :D ), it clicked into place on the driver's side, so I was saved the stress. Just as well....
 
Yep OS mine as well. I was beginning to think that perhaps the facelift bumper was somehow smaller than the pre facelift :?
