Angel eye lights ebay

cheers CJ,I have seen them but as you mentioned earlier on,not sure about how it looks on the car,and no one seems to have an actual photo of them installed on the cars.

I emailed the US ebay company and they said they didn't have a picture of them installed, I am going to try and email a buyer who bought them...and see if he will email pics. :D

Looks like someone bought a set but desided not to fit them,he does say he has now sold the car .

wonder if you could change the parts inside and refit the standard xenon units........ sure a couple of cheap sets will turn up for butchering at some stage

slightly off topic, i just checked my head lights, the inner heads lights don't ever change (1 brightness only), is this correct?

its like a bunch of tramps over a binned bag of chips :)

Im also watching this  have emailed him asking for more detailed pics of back and front - he came back and just said they arent OEM (as we knew)

One bid already! anyone on here? I dont think they look that bad from the E-bay pics, still I will let someone else take the punt

What you talkin' about Taz. The inners are just H7 main beam and flash to pass. What are you expecting them to do? They dont dip if that's what you mean.

I'm meeting this person tonight for a look at the lights - they're only 15-mins from me and unbelieveably I'm at a meeting tonight only 250metres from their house lol. I think it'd be too cheeky to take photos, but I'll have a good look at them and report back.

Undecided on them myself, hence going for a look. Would prefer OEM lights but might take a punt on these if they go very cheap.

Not sure if you are aware of this and if the seller is open to it, but if you open the inspection hatch behind the lights you can undo the light connector and it just reaches to fit it into the new light if held close to the wheel. You'd be able to see how the various sections light up, indicate, etc.

Might just help.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if the wiring would stretch out enough, so that's good to know. Only issue is pretty dire amounts of ice, snow and slush around here at the moment and I have little desire to crawl around in it lol. TBH I'm only really interested in these if they're really cheap and would rather put my cash towards other purchases (z4 and non-z4). But we'll see...

LOL at the bidding war that broke out for these: £175 up to £310 in a the last 25 secs...

Anyone on the forum win them?

I wasn't too bothered if I won them or not so went in low just chancing my luck and hoping for a bargain. Probably did me a favour as I'd rather spend the money I have on sports/M seats instead.

...I had a pop at them but the bids must have rocketed at the end.... if originals go for 600quid or more thats not bad for some copies... ?

Not when you can buy the EXACT same headlights brand new for less than these ones sold for on ebay: AutoArt Z4 headlights for £305 plus £10 delivery :D

But yes, compared to OEM lights which cost £600-700 these are a very good alternative. I met up with the seller last week - lights looked better than in the pictures but still a bit too aftermarket for my tastes: The indicator is at the side and doesn't extend along the bottom of the light like OEMs, and there's what looks like a sidelight bulb in an enclosure above the actual angel eyes. I was willing to compromise for them at a cheap price but not for £300+! Still a good way to get rid of the amber if that's your desire.

ahhhhh didnt see them from a UK supplier. interesting. and you are right, 300quid !!
Damn, i need a headlight tho, mine is like a misty, drizzly, foggy night... hairdrying doesnt work, so will have to wait until one pops up.

those were pretty pricey seeing as they were used and you can get the new for the same price :poke:
