i put my car in for its mot a week early and found an angel eye had stopped working, with only a week to go i bought a new set of headlights, taking the bumper off is a pain, and as i had roped in Neil to help me - ok i confess he pretty much did everything, i didnt want to keep him while I while i tried to work out what gone wrong, so as i say i bought some new ones.

These lights have been modded and angels put in, there is a starter in each headlight and i suspect thats the problem , so 5 quid on ebay and its a worker, both motors work fine, and both are condensation free with new covers and rubbers.

Also in the pic you will the engine covers that came with the car, bit blingy for me that carbon stuff. and finally the exhaust brackets that came with the dlv back box.

The solar panel is not for sale, but i put it in as there was some discussion about solar panels and do they work ect. that thin Chinese jobbie sits on the motorhome windscreen all winter and keeps it fully topped up.
so, what do we think gents, what are my bits worth ?

How much you looking to get for the carbon Fibre engine covers? Assuming they fit my 3.0i? I'd like those on my motor 8)

100 quid for the headlights
, 20 quid for the 3.0i e85 engine covers
15 quid for the exhaust brackets
Postage to be arranged or I will bring them to the north Welsh run 28/4 or any meet in my area.

Two people above you need the chance to respond first.

So we are clear the engine covers are wrapped - not solid carbon, never gave that a thought

Hi mate, sorry for the delay. Are they wrapped in vinyl? Only reason I ask is because they look like they have been coated, rather than wrapped, from the photo. If you mean they've been coated (e.g. Hydrodipped) I'll have them

Not quite sure what's happening here. Pm'd roadwarrior a couple of days ago, but haven't had a reply as yet.

I actually pm'd you to ask if you had a close up photo, as per this screenshot:

I wasn't aware that it was so difficult to difficult to take a quick photo and upload it (as I've done myself many times when selling items). I only asked for a photo as I couldn't bring myself to believe they had been wrapped with vinyl. If they have, then it's a bloody good job, considering they managed to wrap in between all the raised silver lines.

But that's fine, Sell them to someone else who wanted to jump the queue and not abide by the forum rules

dont be so silly, i told you and everybody here it was wrapped - not its not difficult, but as i have told you already it isnt - whata your problem - you dont want it so why are you acting like a dipstick ?
